What is CoreAlign®?
CoreAlign® is a unique apparatus and methodology developed by Australian Physiotherapist, Jonathan Hoffman, in collaboration with Balanced Body. Developed in the physical therapy setting, the CoreAlign® equipment and exercise system became so popular among the first patients to use it they requested continuing classes to improve their overall strength and fitness. It evolved into a modality that bridges the gap between rehabilitation and functional fitness.
Part mind-body, part cardio, part strength and totally unique. What Pilates does for stability, CoreAlign delivers in movement potential. CoreAlign® sessions improve posture, balance and functional movement in a challenging workout unlike anything else. Clients at all fitness levels will feel the difference after one session.
CoreAlign® stimulates core stability muscles to fire in perfect timing while users perform dynamic exercises, deep stretches and core controlled aerobic training. The method is used for musculoskeletal rehabilitation, performance enhancement and can also be practiced at the cardiovascular level.
“CoreAlign is a fun, yet challenging way to improve overall movement mechanics from basic walking to advanced athletic endeavors. It truly educates the body while providing, at times, a strenuous workout and it’s a lot of fun!”
Flow currently offers CoreAlign® options during private and duet sessions.
CoreAlign® classes, which will max out a 5, will be added soon!
