Flow Staff of Professional Trainers and Instructors

  Cindy Reid (Senior Instructor) opened flow in Lincoln Park to expand her teaching practice of pilates, yoga, dance-based movement and exercise. She is a Body Arts and Science International certified pilates instructor, choreographer and former dancer with 20 years experience teaching dance and exercise. She brings to her teaching a deep understanding of body mechanics in both the therapeutic and peak performance range and teaches students of all ages and abilities whose goals span from movement recovery to professional dance and athletic performance enhancement. Cindy has been teaching pilates for 15 years, is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance, and was recently promoted to Senior Faculty for the BASI Teacher Training and Certification Program..
  Kate Weglarz (Senior Instructor) completed her certification in Pilates and Rehabilitation at the Ellie Herman Studios in San Francisco and founded Finding Center, a Pilates studio in Oakland, CA.  With a B.F.A. in Dance and an M.A. in Movement Analysis, she brings her extensive studies of movement and the body to her teaching.  Kate strives to renew balance to the body and enhance awareness and agility.  She has worked with athletes, fitness enthusiasts and individuals with spinal injuries, neuromuscular disorders and osteoporosis.  She is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance and is currently a student of Massage and Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.
  Holli Hitchins (Sr. Apprentice) is versed in both classical and contemporary methods of pilates. She is certified through Body Arts and Science International teacher training program. Holli received her BA in Dance from Illinios State University and has been a movement instructor for over 15 years. She is currently continuing her education through Clayton College's Holistic Nutrition Master's degree program, and in the Flow Senior Instructor apprentice program.
  Aimee Hebert is an avid triathlete, ski-bum, and former surfer, she began practicing yoga and pilates over 10 years ago to compliment her many physical endeavors. As a former training captain for triatheletes, she brings to the studio a unique knowledge of how pilates can benefit the endurance athelete. Aimee completed her pilates certification with Body Arts and Science International at flow, and is currently finishing a Master's of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Pacific College in Chicago.
 
(Chandra) Lynne Alberding completed the Body Arts and Science International teacher training program at flow. She has trained and performed with some of the most renowned ballet masters of the Marinsky Theatre (formally the Kirov Ballet). Lynne brings recognition of the benefits Pilates has on a dancer, athlete, rehab patient, and an individual in pursuit of a healthy balanced lifestyle.
  Jeremy D. Brown began studying yoga and pilates ten years ago with an interest in rehabilitating his personal injuries. Jeremy has an extensive background in teaching movement as well, with ten years experience training both children and adults in jazz, modern dance, ballroom, and Tae Kwon Do. He completed his pilates certification with Body Arts and Science International at flow. He continues his education in pilates and mind-body fitness by constantly striving to integrate new concepts into his work.
  Amy Williams has been interested in pilates and yoga for many years, particularly in light of her structural scoliosis. She found her answer at flow studio, where she learned how the pilates program could help strengthen her spine and core. In 2003, she trained with Body Arts and Science International and upon completion began teaching classes at flow. Amy continues to expand her abilities and interest in the discipline.
  Mark Lerro has been studying for the past 8 years various traditional and new innovative mental, physical, and spiritual disciplines fostering his power to inspire others. Mark bases his intelligent and creative sequencing on elements of Iyengar, Hatha, Vinyasa, Astanga, Forrest, and Universal freestyle. Infused elements of the science of Ayurveda, Martial arts, Thai Massage, sound therapy, and Zen meditation are also experienced in his classes. His consistent hard work has added enthusiasm and integrity to programs all over the city.
  Emily L. Haggith is registered with the Yoga Alliance and holds a certification in Yoga for the Special Child (specialyoga.com). Her classes include breath awareness, gentle stretches, flow sequences, and strength building poses. Class ends with relaxation and gentle neck massage upon student approval. Kavita Ajmere is a licensed psychologist and started teaching yoga in order to bridge together the mind-body connection. She teaches a Hatha-sytle pre-natal class that connects each pose with breath and awareness. Her classes are tought with the goals of improving posture, promoting concentration and focus, enchancing strength, and increasing energy level and stamina.
