Pilates Props
This group class teaches challenges strength and core stability with added resistance and unstable surfaces. Using pilates concepts of proper stabilization and core strength, teacher will emphasize movements performed in neutral spine, for functional strength and flexibility. Great for all levels as resistance and stability can be adjusted for appropriate challenge. An excellent compliment to other workouts on the schedule. Register now!

An introduction to the basic movement concepts and pilates exercises essential for proper biomechanics.  May be taken as an introduction or as ongoing class for those who wish to move at a slower pace. Register now!

Appropriate for beginners (with knowledge of fundamentals) and regular students, mat class encourages students to work deeply and will improve posture, core strength, balance, flexibility, and form.  Heavy emphasis on abdominal strengthening. A necessity at every fitness level. Register now!

The perfect blend of yoga and pilates, this class, designed by Cindy Reid, brings together challenging yoga poses and exercises from the pilates mat series in one fluid, invigorating workout. Class resumes Spring 08.

Adding the inherently unstable surface of the ball brings an increased challenge to pilates and yoga moves. Perfect for anyone looking to add a new level of challenge to their core strength and stability. Lots of fun! Prior pilates and yoga experience recommended. Register now!

pre-post natal pilates -- NEW!!
The 6 week course is designed for the special needs of pregnant women (2-9 mo) and for recovering post-natal moms. Instructor Cindy Reid had created this class to include the use of props and tools to enhance students' ability to safely work the core, as well as strengthen crucial hip, glute and upper back muscles needed to maintain better posture throughout and following pregnancy. Students will also use leg and arm weights for building strength beyond the core. Sunday 4:15pm. Pre-registration required for this 6 week session.

yoga
Students will work on balance, stretching, and strengthening postures, relaxation and meditation.  Instructors will assist individuals on proper form and breathing and guide each student to increased awareness and sense of well-being. Register now!

dance conditioning
This lively class taught to upbeat music and rhythms is a combination of dynamic standing work: isolations, balance, and short movement combinations, strength and flexibility floorwork. Prior dance experience not required!

pilates reformer class
A unique opportunity to experience the sophisticated reformer in a small group setting, this class runs on a 6 week session and requires instructor approval to join. It is designed to improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance, and stabilization with an unlimited opportunity for advancement. If you are interested in joining a class please give us a call or use our Registration link. We will then place you in the appropriate class according to your experience level.
