What is Pilates?

The Pilates Method was developed by Joseph Pilates (1880-1967) to provide balance and vitality to the body through mindful exercise, and neuromuscular re-education. The Pilates principles address posture, muscle performance and motor control, the same concepts that form the basis of most orthopedic rehabilitation and therapy.

Pilates offers strength and mobility training to improve posture, coordination and bio mechanics.  Pilates synchronizes movement, breath and spring resistance to create a unique experience that will leave you feeling invigorated and elongated.
